The Mission of DIY Tactical
Having spent a number of years in the military and as a private security contractor, I’ve learned the hard way, through trial and error, what works and what doesn’t when it comes to making and modifying personal equipment. With the purchase of my first sewing machine while assigned to the 3/187th Inf Recon Platoon I started modifying me gear to meet my needs. It was all trial and error.
I still don’t have all the answers, but I know the best way to learn is through networking and sharing information with others. Hopefully through this site and the discussions in the forum we can will help increase the knowledge base and inspire a new generation of do it yourselfers.
The intent with DIY Tactical is to build a resource that is community driven, organized, and easily searched. A place where people can share information, ask questions and connect with like minded individuals.
