Now carefully sew, trying not to get the opposite side of the sleeve caught in the stitches.
Then attach the pocket flap.
Now you are ready to attach the sleeve.
Match the seams on each, wrong sides facing out. Make sure that the sleeve is not backwards, then sew in place.
Do the same to the other side, and viola, under body armour style shirt, simple and effective.
To do a “From Scratch” shirt, just use the Raglan sleeve pattern with your chosen material (remembering seam allowances) Then Attaching any pockets, Velcro, Elbow reinforcements, or any other frilly things you can think of. Sew front and back, then sew down the length of the sleeve, make your desired cuffs, and there you have it. Easy to do, and you can customize it any way you like.
